Masarykova Avenue in Teplice underwent a major public-realm revitalisation as part of a comprehensive reconstruction. The project incorporated blue-green infrastructure, enabling effective stormwater management and creating optimum conditions for the long-term growth of trees. A new avenue of honey locust 'Skyline' (Gleditsia triacanthos 'Skyline') was planted along the street, with stem girths of 18–20 cm. This cultivar was selected for its light, airy crown, high tolerance of urban conditions and good resistance to drought, heat and salinity.

The trees are planted in continuous planting strips, supplemented with perennial planting. To ensure sufficient rooting volume, structural substrate was used to support healthy root development even in demanding urban conditions. The revitalisation of Masarykova Avenue is an example of a modern approach to the renewal of urban streets, where quality planting and blue-green infrastructure are an integral part of a functional, long-term sustainable public space.
