WOODSIDE FOREST

WOODSIDE FOREST originated from a design wish of landscape architect Peter Lubbers. He was looking for a more natural, multi-stem look, a kind of ‘instant forest’. His request was in line with the trend towards more natural looking, native planting, and we decided to experiment and see what we could come up with. The development drew inspiration from thickets of species originating from Western Europe. In order to achieve the desired look, lots of young trees were planted close together. The roots of these trees will eventually form a single root ball and can be planted together as a natural thicket. The groups are cultivated in airpot in order to create a perfect, solid root ball to facilitate replanting.
