Tilia platyphyllos 'Fastigiata' Tilia platyphyllos 'Fastigiata'

A narrow, pyramidal form of the summer linden with ascending branches bearing upwards-slanting twigs. The trunk is light grey and later grooved. After one year, twigs are hairy and reddish brown, and become bare in the winter. The leaves of 'Fastigiata' are rounder than those of the species and have a tapered top and a slightly heart-shaped, nearly round base. The leaf edge is sharply serrated. The upper side of the leaf is dark green while the underside is lighter with soft hair. The fruit remains on the tree for a long time in the autumn. The aromatic flowers grow in pendulous umbels of 3 to 5 together. Suitable for narrower streets. Winter hardiness zone: 4
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2025.
