Small tree sometimes with several upright central leaders reaching a height of 3 to 5 m. The primary lateral branches are horizontal and their tips hang down vertically. The lateral branches and twigs also hang down vertically. This creates a broad conical tree. The bark is brown-red and flakes off when mature. The very dark green needles are 2 to 3.5 cm long. They look lovely against the old bark. The tree is male, but it occasionally produces a female branch, recognisable by the fruit yield. Poisonous seeds are enclosed by an oval, fleshy red aril. Broad park tree for any well-drained soil.
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2025.
