Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis' is a densely branched large shrub or medium-sized tree with sloping and slightly arching branches. The tree has a broad vase-shaped crown. Height 6 - 8 m. The leaves unfurl green and have a yellow to orange-yellow autumn colour. Flowering repeats from November to the end of April, except during periods of frost. The semi-double flowers are very light pink (almost white), the buds darker. Due to the long flowering period, the plant does not flower richly at one time. 'Autumnalis' is used as a park tree. Hardiness zone: 5b
