Prunus 'Pandora' starts off with a columnar crown that later becomes more vase-shaped. Height 4 - 6 m. The ovoid to elongated leaves emerge bronze-coloured and later turn dark green. The leaves attain a size of 5 - 7 cm. The autumn colour is orange-red. The numerous single flowers, Ø approx. 3 cm, are white with some pink. The tree flowers in early April, before the emergence of the leaves. The red fruits resembling cherries occur only infrequently. Suitable for planting in gardens and streets. Prefers nutritious, fairly humid and loamy soil. Winter hardiness zone: 6
