Prunus incisa 'Paean' Prunus incisa 'Paean'

'Paean' is a large shrub to small tree to about 4 m tall. The crown is broadly vase-shaped, eventually almost round and densely branched. The leaves are ovate with a serrate leaf edge and a pointed tip. When unfurling, the leaves are bronze-coloured, then turn dark green later in summer. In autumn, they turn deep orange-red. Full clusters of bright pink flowers open around the end of March and early April. The flower buds are slightly darker and the centre of the flowers also turn slightly darker when they unfurl. The, for a P. incisa dark flower colour is the main characteristic of 'Paean' and also forms its main ornamental value. Hardiness zone 6b.
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2025.
