Fraxinus pennsylvanica 'Cimmzam' (syn. F. p. 'Cimmaron') is a tall tree up to circa 20 m. When juvenile the crown is still narrow, later it becomes more oval. Characteristic for this cultivar is the late-sprouting leaf in spring, which persists in autumn up to a week and a half longer than other cultivars. The dark green leaf has a striking stone-red to orange autumn colouring. This male variety does not produce fruits. 'Cimmzam' is useful as a park, avenue and street tree, both in dry and moist soils. Winter hardiness zone: 4
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2025.
