Acer platanoides 'Palmatifidum' (syn: A. platanoidus 'Lorbergii') is a small tree, with a slightly twisted growth habit, reaching a height of circa 10 m. It has a round to egg-shaped crown and is a slow grower. The tree has beautiful, deeply cut, green leaves and rarely bears flowers and fruits. 'Palmatifidum' is used as a park tree and a solitary. It demands little of the soil, but does not tolerate peaty or wet soils. The tree is good wind resistant. Winter hardiness zone: 4
