Aceraceae

Acer ×freemanii SIENNA GLEN ('Sienna') Acer ×freemanii SIENNA GLEN ('Sienna')

Strongly growing, medium-size tree up to approx. 15 m height with regular pyramidal and later broad pyramidal crown. The leaves sprout green and stay shiny green in colour throughout the summer. The leaf stems are light red on top. The leaf is relatively small for an A. × freemanii cultivar. In autumn the leaf turns vivid orange-red to deep scarlet. The autumn colour persists quite a long time before the leaf falls. Although the plant is female, fruits rarely form. Less suitable for use in narrower streets due to its strong growth and fairly broad crown, but the tree is a good adornment for avenues, wide streets and parks. Like all A. x freemanii, this flourishes on most soils as long as they are not too limy.
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2025.
