For the project 'Van Mierlo Tuinen – Experience your Nature', we supplied a selection of large, mature trees that define the character of this unique landscape project. Noël van Mierlo transformed a former meadow landscape into a natural garden of approximately one hectare, where our trees form the connection between the design and the surrounding nature reserve.

The selected species – including Zelkova carpinifolia 'Verschaffeltii' at the entrance, Taxodium distichum var. distichum around the bio-lake, Pinus, Juglans, and additionally Nyssa sylvatica, Fagus sylvatica 'Atropunicea' and Carpinus betulus – were specifically chosen based on their growth location, seasonal experience, and their role in ecological cohesion.

By working with mature, characterful specimens, the landscape immediately gains the tranquillity and naturalness of a mature forest. The trees determine the spatial character, add height to the flat Brabant landscape, and ensure a smooth transition between the organic forms of the garden design and the protected nature around it.

A project where craftsmanship, ecology, and landscape architecture come together from day one.
