Salix ×sepulcralis 'Chrysocoma' Salix ×sepulcralis 'Chrysocoma'

Salix ×sepulcralis 'Chrysocoma', or weeping willow, reaches a height of 20-25 metres and is notable for its broad weeping, jagged crown. The bark is brown to grey and changes as the tree ages. The leaves, initially yellow-green, turn bright yellow in autumn. Yellow flowers appear in April. This willow tolerates wet soil and can withstand flooding, but does not tolerate paving. The tree is hardy to -28.8 °C and wind resistant. As a gestation tree, it provides food for bees, making it useful for biodiversity. Suitable for both tall-stemmed and multi-stemmed forms, this weeping willow is ideal for parks and large gardens.
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2025.
