Prunus avium 'Landscape Bloom' Prunus avium 'Landscape Bloom'

This is a Dutch selection from Prunus avium that grows 'more tightly' than the species. The tree has a narrow pyramidal crown that becomes broader at a later stage. Its eventual height is 15 - 20 m. The glossy bark is brownish-red. The large ovoid leaves are dark green and grow to 15 cm in size. The leaf edge is irregularly serrated and the leaves have a yellow-orange to scarlet colour in the autumn. Its flowers appear in April in bundles of white semi-double flowers. These give way to small dark red fruits that are not edible. 'Landscape Bloom' is used as a park and landscape tree. It prefers nutritious and humid soil. Winter hardiness zone: 4
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2025.
