Cornus officinalis 'Robin's Pride' Cornus officinalis 'Robin's Pride'

'Robin's Pride' is a small tree that forms a continuous heart branch and eventually develops a dense, oval crown 4-7 m tall. The young twigs are brown. The older bark is grey-brown and exfoliates beautifully olive-green, which is an important ornamental value of C. officinalis. The leaves are dark green and turn red in autumn. Like the species, 'Robin's Pride' flowers in small umbels of pale yellow flowers in February-March. The flowers can be followed by glossy red, oval, edible fruits.
Cornus officinalis prefers clay, loamy and sandy soil, preferably calcareous. 'Robin's Pride' has the same requirements. The tree tolerates drought well. Its slender form makes it suitable for use as a street tree, also in narrower profiles. Also suitable for use as a park tree, in gardens, cemeteries, and in roof gardens. Hardiness zone 6b
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2025.
