The Glass Farm is a multipurpose building in the central market square of the Brabant village of Schijndel. It is a glass, scaled-up (1.6:1) version of an average local farmhouse which recreates history by evoking a spirit of the past. This market building, which has a total of 1,600 m2 of floor space, houses shops, restaurants, offices and a wellness they chose Tilia platyphyllos pruned into block shapes and clear stem Tilia tomentosa ‘Szeleste’ in centre. The municipality handed MTD landscape architects the job of redesigning the square around the farmhouse and sizes 40-50.
