In the spring of 2006 Van den Berk Nurseries delivered 35 Quercus palustris with a trunk diameter of 100 – 120 cm for the new campus of the head office of the Novartis pharmaceuticals concern in Basel, Switzerland. Each tree was delivered separately with a special vehicle and planted with a telescopic crane. The trees are arranged in a tight lattice formation parallel to the management offices and surround the square known as The Forum. The entire square consists of white split granite chips and is bordered with white granite panels. A Koi carp pond is situated in the middle of the trees.
