The future
The environment is currently a hot item throughout the world. Companies and governments can no longer avoid their responsibilities.
Paulus: “The environment is being handled more seriously than ever before. Now, the political establishment is discovering that you cannot fool nature. It always comes back on you, and I think that people are listening now. In any case, I am proud that we are one of the few companies that supplies oxygen instead of CO2.”
Pieter: “This is why it remains important for us to not only follow but also anticipate new developments.
We have always done this and will always do this. As one of the most important tree cultivators in Europe we can make a signifi cant contribution to the green spaces in the urban areas of this world. And we are determined to do it.”

In-house fleet of machinery

guarantees rapid and effective delivery

Van den Berk Nurseries has a large number of its own machines, which means that digging out and delivery can be carried out rapidly in the digging season. The nursery is therefore independent of commissioned workers and that means that your orders can be processed and elivered more rapidly.

Self-built mammoth digging machine
that can dig out rootballs with a maximum
diameter of 2.6 metres.

Prior to planting the
soil is enriched
with organic fertiliser.
The Pazzaglia digs out a
size 60-70 Sophora japonica
by shovelling completely
under the rootball.

We move heavy
trees with the
three-point technique.
The soil is broken (left), after which the Quercus ilex are
planted with the aid of the laser controlled
planting machine
with lift (under).
We use our own truck combinations to deliver
trees to clients in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Self-built, self-driving pruning container system. Every container can be controlled individually
so that the pruners can prune two rows in a single pass.
